What Is the Book About?

Handling money in today’s world can be a complex and confusing endeavor, especially when you add-in Christian expectations.  After experiencing the 2001 and 2008 financial crises, I felt compelled to understand the large-scale economic and social trends that greatly affect us all.  I've studied, observed, and searched for answers and in the book, I share them with you.

The book is meant to be a comprehensive guide for Christians in handling their wealth.  Most Christian books about money cover one or two of the following areas: 1) personal finance basics, 2) biblical wealth principles, 3) biblical investing principles, and 4) Christian giving.  This book covers all four!  

My goal is to deliver a sense of wholeness to a topic that on the surface appears to be divided into discrete parts.  Although it contains a lot of practical information, the book is first and foremost a spiritual book meant to help you in your relationship with God. 

What should we do with the wealth that God gives us?  Should we spend it on ourselves, make financial investments, or generously give it away?  What exactly does God want us to do with our wealth?  Of course, no person should tell you specifically what you should do with your wealth.  That's your decision alone.

That being said, we will all answer to God one day and he will bring us to account.  We want God to say to us on that day:

     “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!” (Matthew 25:21 excerpted) 

We all must balance how we use our wealth in a way that matches our faith.  Whatever your vision, your wealth should be a catalyst and not a stumbling block.  I want your life’s journey to be inspired, full of wisdom, and lived with a clear conscience.
