money and wealth related sermon ideas
Here’s a list of sermon ideas related to money and wealth. Please note that many of the ideas are not direct teachings on money/wealth, but have some connection to money/wealth. If your church is hosting the Building Faith and Finances course, you might consider doing money/wealth related sermons to emphasize the theme. Because the Bible gives money and wealth abundant coverage, it is fertile ground for sermons and teaching. As with all Bible teaching, be sure to carefully and “correctly handle[] the word of truth.” If you have any ideas to add to the list, please email me at Patrick@faith-finances.com.
See the Top 100 Money Verses for many ideas. Also see the Money Verses Topical Index for even more ideas (arrogance, balance, contentment, debt, generosity, greed, hard work and laziness, investing, offerings and charity, poverty and the needy, reward in heaven, saving money, stewardship, stinginess, and worry). The following parables, accounts, teachings, and themes can serve as a part of or the central core of a sermon.
